What Causes GI Dysfunction?
GI dysfunction varies and can have many different causes. For example:
- Hereditary traits
- Lifestyle
- Medications
- Nutrition
- Other illness
- Many other reasons
Syptoms also vary and can cause a lot of discomfort and pain.
Plaquex Protects the Gastric Lining
Plaquex can protect the gastric lining from the effects of NSAIDs. NSAIDs are nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. These are commonly prescribed to treat conditions, such as arthritis because they relieve pain and reduce inflammation.
Although NSAIDs work well to inhibit pain, common side effects may include gastric problems such as heartburn, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Prolonged use of NSAIDs may eventually lead to ulcers and internal bleeding.
